SCALE Lending focuses on providing senior secured transitional loans secured by commercial mortgages in the New York Metropolitan area and select high growth transit-oriented markets on the East Coast. SCALE is a direct lender providing first mortgage financing secured by commercial real estate assets, including land acquisition, construction, new development, re-development, inventory, and assets with a lease-up or reposition component. SCALE leverages off the Slate platform, which offers expertise in underwriting, land valuation, construction, cost estimating, zoning, design, planning, environmental, property management, leasing, accounting, etc. in order to guide the investment decisions and assess the valuation of collateral.
Slate Property Group
Founded in 2013, Slate Property Group is a New York City based owner, operator, developer, and lender primarily focused on multifamily strategies. From adaptive reuse and repositioning of existing assets to ground-up development, the Slate team leverages extensive experience in the multifamily asset class, in-house teams dedicated to the separate phases of a real estate investment, and a regimented approach towards executing a business plan.
Slate’s integrated platform of 140+ employees enable it to maintain a streamlined decision-making process by quickly analyzing investment opportunities, quantifying risks and committing the resources necessary to immediately capitalize on opportunities. Slate’s current portfolio consists of 60+ investments across equity and debt strategies.
